Collection consists of court records, a survey, and funeral notices dating between 1831 and 1863. The Bill of Chancery concerns a land dispute brought against Robert Boggs, infant heir of James H. Boggs, and his guardian, John Hart, by Robert C. Boggs, in Fayette Circuit Court. The survey pertains to the land in question. The funeral notices held in this collection are for Miss Mittie Garrard, James P. Megowan, and William Banks. There is no known relation between this people and Robert Boggs.
